A Forever Love
Ticklish and tender
His fingers played
Around my neck!
His breath warm
And smelling of love.
I felt him smile
softly and wetly!
I couldn't help
but hold him close
And cuddle and laugh!
Rejoicing in the gurgle
of a reply-
I wondered:
Was there any greater joy
Than holding your baby
Warm and cozy;
And wrapping each other
With that indescribable
Cloak of love?
