A Call for Faith

What have I lost
I wonder...
And look inward.

Only my heart:
for it lies with you.

Only my soul:
for it's lost, in wilderness
abandoned by my searching self.

Only my voice:
the unspoken words
the unfelt plea
At a loss to articulate.

Lost.
Myself.

Why can't I even
find the words
to pray?

I'm thankful , though,
I still have You
Dear God,
Waiting for me...

  2. An utterly romantic poem given such a divine dimension at the last stanza by connecting the soul to the God.It is a lesson for all ,how simple and yet effectively expressive a poem can be.

Wonderful. That is what another person used to do very artistically ,again n again.

If i am not mistaken ,He was R.N.Tagore!

This verse caught me totally, as well as the divine colour you paint it in! Lovely Teacher! :)

How well I relate with this! I'm sure all of us, at some point would have been thru it.At a time when hopelessness seems to take control, the last verse, very simple yet powerful, flashes the light!!!

And what more could one ask for???!!!

    A lesson for life, this:):)
